Dr. Peterson is a graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. She is a member of the 2014 graduating class and graduated with honors. Dr. Peterson furthered her clinical knowledge and experience through completing externship rotations at various medical facilities across the country. Her included specializations are pediatric optometry which she studied at the Illinois Eye Institute, ocular disease studied at the Providence VA Medical Center, ocular emergencies studied at the University of Kentucky, and cornea and contact lenses studied at Davis Eye Associates. Originally from Illinois, she has been living in North Carolina since 2014.

Dr. Peterson is a member of the North Carolina State Optometric Society, American Academy of Optometry and American Optometric Association.

In her free time, Dr. Peterson enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers.

Dr. Perkins is a native North Carolinian, growing up in Roxboro, NC. After graduating form North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, Dr. Perkins attended The Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL where he graduated with clinical honors. Dr. Perkins continued to expand his clinical expertise by completing various internships throughout the country. This included a rotation specializing in emergency trauma and dry eye disease at the Illinois Eye Institute as well as ocular disease focusing on glaucoma and macular degeneration through the North Carolina VA medical center.

Dr. Perkins is an active member of the North Carolina State Optometric Society, American Academy of Optometry, and American Optometric Association.

Outside of the office, Dr. Perkins enjoys spending time at the beach, playing sports, and all of the great restaurants and activities that Wilmington has to offer.
